Learn how the compact Sash Factory is arranged, aligned, and tuned to produce accurate historic sash parts. Steve demonstrates the cope, profile, and rabbet sequence and explains how repeatable setup turns a collection of routers into a dependable production system.

Learn the kind of carpentry it takes to tune a double hung window. Parting beads, window stops and fitting new sash to old openings. Tools to shave down, cut and trim sashes so that everything lines up like it's supposed to. Maybe even a little talk about weatherstripping if there's time.

Learn the sequence for measuring and cutting glass, preparing the glazing rabbet, bedding the pane, setting glazing points, and applying traditional glazing putty to produce a secure, weather-resistant result.
